Become a Sponsor:

The underwater Images Competition is always seeking new sponsors. There as sponsorship levels for all types, sizes, and budgets. Sponsorship can be in the form of prizes for winners, funds to purchase prizes, or funds to help with the cost of running the competition.

All sponsors will have text links to their website from our sponsor prize page, sponsor list/logo page.

All sponsors are listed with a text link in the sponsor list of the left margin of every page on the site. All sponsors will also get a link and short description in the individual random sponsor link box as show in the right margin.  This link randomly changes with each page refresh and is on the main page and many pages related to that year's contest and photo gallery. Each year's competition sponsors pages remains on the site for up to 3 years, so you will have back-links and listings to your site for up to 3 years. Those sponsoring multiple years will be listing on pages for all the years you sponsored.

Platinum Sponsor

Platinum sponsors contribute a prize or funds to purchase one for the Best of Show winner, a first place winner, or multiple sponsorships. Platinum sponsors receive priority placement of their logos on the website and printed materials, Top billing on all sponsor lists, and special mention at the award presentations. Only Platinum Sponsors get header banners rotated on every page of the website. Platinum sponsors may also have graphic logos on the Prize listing page and sponsors page, and are listed with top billing ahead of the Gold and Silver Sponsors in most lists.

Gold Sponsor

Gold sponsors contribute a prize or funds to purchase them for prizes worthy of second or third place winners. Gold sponsors are listed after the Platinum sponsors  and are promoted in multiple forms on the website, including priority listings in sponsor lists and logos on various pages of the website and random sponsor promotions through the site. Gold Sponsors may have a graphic logo on the prizes and sponsors pages as well as a website link.

Silver Sponsor

Silvers sponsors generally provide contributions that can be used for third place or honorable mention prizes, giveaways, auctions, or otherwise help the competition provide prizes to the contest winners or assist in covering operating costs. Silver level sponsors will have text links to their website on multiple pages, and a may have a graphic logo or text link placed on the sponsors page.

Other Sponsorship

Underwater Images welcomes sponsorship of any level, whether it be prize donations, giveaways for entrants, promotional help with the competition, Assistance in getting qualified judges, etc. We are committed to rewarding our sponsors of all levels with recognition for their assistance. Links to this website from other diving, photography, or similar sites are appreciated. Sponsors donating multiple silver or gold level prizes may have their sponsorship upgraded to a higher level.

The site peak traffic is generally in the January to April time period. However, in August 2006, Yahoo featured the site in an online magazine creating a large spike in that month which is out of the ordinary. The website received an average of about over 2700 unique visitors per month in 2006. In 2006, the site had over 180,000 page views. As of posting, the site has a Google Page rank of 4 out of 10, with 1 being the most popular sites on the internet. These are historic figures and no guarantee of future site traffic.
