has an new web based forum
with a special topic area on
underwater photo
contests, as well as several other topic categories related to underwater
photo and video.
Participants of this and other photo competitions
are welcome to discuss this contest and entering contests in general on that
board. We will use the information posted there to gauge public opinion on
underwater photo contests in order to improve this one.

Underwater Photo Mailing List and Web Group
There is a new underwater photo mailing list on
Yahoogroups.com a subscription
links is listed below. In addition the following is available on the uwphoto
group web page:
- Main page with general group info and email contacts
- Messages - Archives of past group messages. Viewable (but not postable) by
non-group members also.
- Post - Members can post email messages from the web as well as from a standard
email client.
- Members - Members can view other member names and profiles (if provide),
and partial (not complete or harvestable) email addresses.
- Files - Group owner or moderators can upload files for group access,
members can download.
- Calendar - Group members can add uwphoto related events to a group
calendar viewable by members and non-members.
- Links - Members can post and others can view URL's to a web links page.
- Chat - There is a web based chat page for group members.

Another mailing list is uw-photo@world.std.com ,
which is a standard majordomo moderated mailing list. Instructions for joining
it are below:
uw-photo and uwphoto-digest are maintained with the help of
majordomo, a mailing list administration program. If at any time you
wish to obtain files, subscribe, or unsubscribe, you can send a
message to majordomo@world.std.com.
